Online class compared to a traditional face-to-face class

Online class and the face-to-face are both teaching ways to give knowledge to students. However, in some ways there are different from each other.

On traditional face-to-face class, students listen to teacher to gain knowledge face to face, while on online class, they study through the sound and that the teacher show on the screen. Those two teaching method both cost students nearly the same time and energy to absorb knowledge and technique.

Conversely, they are difference in many areas. On the face-to-face class, students are more concentrated with the question raised by the teachers. Besides, they feel more engaged and received more immediate response than online class. What’s more, under the pressure of classmates, students are motivated to study harder which student can’t feel just sitting in front of computer.

In addition, if students study online, they just stay at home rather than come to class and find their set to sit down. What else? Online class cut down the school’s expenditures because the school no need to spend plenty of money on teaching building and facilities.

In summary, though both online class and traditional face-to-face class pass knowledge to students, they are contrasted with each other on the teaching effect, the place of teaching and expenditure.
