Pre-conditioning * Alkaline Digestion for hexavalent chromium (EPA 3060A). * If precipitates (insoluble matter) are produced, dissolve them totally by taking some means. 2). Measurement methods 1. Ion chromatography for hexavalent chromium. (EPA 7199) 2. Colorimetric for hexavalent chromium. (EPA 7196A) 3). Other measurement methods can be accepted if they are referred to latest version of IEC 62321 (IEC 111) corresponding section. 4). Colorless and colored chromate coatings on metallic parts must additionally follow the boiling-water extraction procedure of IEC 62321 latest version. (e.g. 111/54/CDV section 8.5). Note: Delta will not accept any other pre-conditioning method unless it is with specific approval. (e.g. EN-71, In-house)
