摘 要

诺贝尔经济学奖获得者斯蒂格利茨说过：“在21世纪初期，影响世界最大的两件事，一是新技术革命；二是中国的城市化。”无疑，作为经济学大师的他，单独把这两个事件放到如此重要的位置是经过深刻的思考和研究的；他的这一论断，也非常好的诠释了中国城市化与改革开放以来经济腾飞之间相互促进相互影响的关系。而广东作为中国经济快速发展的先行省份、其城市化进程也领先于全国平均水平。那广东省的城市化水平和经济增长关系如何，我们又如何从数量和质量上去度量这种相互影响，在此基础上，又如何根据这些影响去制定相关的经济增长策略。基于此，本文的分析通过定性研究和使用现代计量方法的定量研究相结合的方法，得到以下结论：

1、1978年来，广东的经济增长与城市化水平在5%的显著条件下具有长期均衡的关系，即协整关系，从长期和全省范围来看，城市化不存在明显滞后的现象

2、广东经济增长和城市化水平不具有显著的格兰杰因果关系。尤其是城市化水平对经济增长影响较弱。可能的原因是因为广东城市对全省的经济辐射能力较弱，广东整体第三产业发展滞后，导致现阶段城市化对经济增长影响较弱

3、在方差分解检验中，也发现了广东城市化对经济增长影响较弱的情况。对此，本文提出了审时度势，既要以改变现行户籍管理制度，加快产业结构调整为方法来大力推进城市化；又要根据经济发展情况和各区域现实防止盲目追求数量上城市化水平提高的建议。

And as China's rapid economic development of first province, the urbanization process ahead of the national average. That the level of urbanization in Guangdong Province and the relationship between economic growth, how do we measure up from the number and quality of this interaction, on this basis, and how these affect the economic growth to the development of relevant strategies. Based on this, qualitative research and analysis through the use of modern methods of quantitative measurement method of combining, the following conclusions:

1, 1978, the Guangdong's economic growth and urbanization level of significance at the 5% under the conditions of long-term equilibrium relationship, that is, cointegration, long-term and province-wide from the point of view, urbanization has lagged far behind the phenomenon does not exist

2, Economic Growth and urbanization level is not significant Granger causality. In particular the level of urbanization on the impact of weaker economic growth.
