1.掌握词汇及短语:beautiful, beach, star 2.认知词汇及短语:east, Canberra, kangaroo 3. 句型:Right! / Very good! / That’s right! 三 教学重点、难点:

1. Right! / That’s right! 正确!

这是表示赞同的用语,本课的“very good!”(很好)也属于这种表达法。 2. Australia has beautiful beaches. 澳大利亚有美丽的海滩。 以 s, x, ch, sh,结尾的名词变复数时,需要在词尾加-es.例如:buses, boxes, watches, brushes.

3.能连贯、流畅地朗读课文。 四 课前准备:

1.磁带,录音机,图片,地图。 2.板书Lesson 14 五 教学过程: Class opening Greeting

L14 N1 A map of Australia Step1: presentation

Demonstrate Australia with a map. Draw attention to the big letter at the beginning of the word.

Discuss: what do you know about Australia? Step2: practice

1.Read. Play the audiotape as the students follow along in their student books. Then ask the student to read each sentence aloud with you.

2.Game. Play “Where In the world?” with cards of China, Canada, the U.S.and the U.K.

3.Ask and answer.

A.What do Australian people speak? B.What’s the capital city of it?

C.What colour is the flag of Australia? D.What’s it famous for? L14 N2 In Australia Step 3: presentation

1. Show the picture to introduce Australia’s flag, kangaroo and beaches. 2. discuss what they know about them?

Step4: practice

1. Read. Play the audiotape as the students follow along in their student books. Then ask the students to read each sentence aloud with you.

2. Work in pairs. Class closing

1. Finish off the activity book.

2. Read the dialogues in this lesson.

1.掌握词汇及短语:ready, have fun, right, answer, up, here. 2.能运用特殊疑问句来提出问题. What’s this? 及其正确的答语。It’s a map. 3.能说出一些以英语为母语的国家。 三、 教学重点、难点

能运用特殊疑问句来提出问题并做出相应的答语。 What country is this? It’s China. 四、 课前准备

录音机,磁带,一张大的世界地图 五、 教学过程 Class opening 1. Greeting. 2. Sing a song.

3. Act out the dialogue in Lesson14. Step1: presentation

1. Use a world map to show China, the U.S., The U.K. and Australia.

2. Discuss: What do the students already know about English speaking countries Step2: Practice

1. Read. Play the audiotape as the students follow along in their student books. Then ask the students to read each sentence aloud with you.

2. Complete the blank. Then practice in pairs. Step3: Listen to the tape. Step4: practice.

Dialogue : Look at the picture and lead a dialogue such as: A: What country is this? B: It’s China.

A: What country is east of China? B: The U.S. is east of China.

A: What do they speak in this country? B: They speak Chinese. Class closing

1. Finish off the activity book.

2. Read the dialogues in this lesson.

1.掌握词汇及其短语: The U.K.(the United Kingdom), beach, capital, country, flag, map, star, east, west, north, south , speak, know

2.认知词汇:Australia, Buckingham Palace, Canberra, Kangaroo, London, king, queen

3. 句型:Where are they from?

Where is Australia? It’s southeast of China. Good/ very good! Right/ That’s right!

三.教学重点、难点:

简单了解一些美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚的基本情况。 四.课前准备:图片、 录音机、 磁带、 世界地图 五.教学过程: Class opening: 1. Greet.

2. Ask and Answer.

Teacher: Where do you live? What do you speak?

What’s the capital of China?

What do you know about China’s flag? Step1: Presentation

Demonstrate Canada with a map. Ask the students questions they probably can answer about Canada. Step2: Practice

1. Make a dialogue about Canada.

2. Two students ask and answer the questions. A: What’s the capital city of Canada? B: It’s Ottawa.

A: What country is south of Canada? B: I know the U.S. is south of Canada. A: What colour is the flag of Canada?

B: Canada’s flag is red and white. It has a leaf. Step3: Work in pairs.

1. Choose other countries to practice. 2. Listen. Write the names.

利用《活动手册》和录音带。

3. Write a few sentences about a country with your partner. Class closing

1. Finish off the activity book.

2. Sum up what you have learned in this unit.

Unit 8 第一课时

二.教学目标:

1. 掌握词汇:学生可以读、写、说出并且听懂下列词汇: Trip, hotel, Beijing, beautiful, old, big, shop.

2. 认知词汇:Tian’anmen square, famous, Palace museum, great, restaurant. 3. 能用简单的英语表达自己的意愿。 4. 能简单的介绍自己的国家。 三.教学重点、难点:

1.能简单的介绍自己的国家。 2.能连贯流畅地朗读课文。

3.能用英语写出自己的喜好和愿望。 四.课前准备:

1. 一张世界地图和一张中国地图。 2. 一个行李箱

3. 一些带有宾馆、饭店和商店读片的杂志和报纸或有关北京的任意图片。 五.教学过程: Class opening 1. Greeting 2. Sing a song Key concepts:

We speak Chinese. The U.S. is east of China. Step1: Presentation

Show a map of china, Discuss: What do you know about Beijing? Step2: Practice

1. Read. Play the tape as the students follow along in their student books. then ask the students to read each sentence with you.

2. Ask and answer.

Where does Li ming from? What country is east of China? What is the capital city of China?

What do you know about China’s flag? Step3: Presentation

Show the pictures to introduce China’s flag, Tian’anmen Square and the Palace Museum.

Step4: Practice
