Unit 3 是一个复习单元，对学生在前两个单元中已经掌握的知识技能进行总结与综合性的练习。

Language practice包含4部分。Part 1要求学生根据所给图片和卡片内容，就所给两种动物情况进行问答练习；Part 2要求学生把上一部分中同伴的问答写下来；Part 3要求学生用所给词的适当形式填空，掌握实意动词一般现在时的用法；Part 4要求学生用所给词语，完成“单词图”。

Around the world 介绍了中国两种具有代表性的动物——熊猫和老虎。 Module task 要求学生就自己最喜爱的动物制作一张海报。

技能目标：

1. To summarise and consolidate Present simple questions.

2. To know something about animals in China.

3. To have teamwork and make a poster of one’s favourite animal.

Step 1: Greetings

Step 2: Revision

Ask one student to come to the front and describe the animals. Get the others students guess what it is.

Step 3: Language practice

Ask them to read the sentences loudly.

Step 4: Grammar

The simple present tense is one of the most common tenses in English. There are only two basic forms for the simple present tense; one ends with -s and the other doesn't. Here are the rules, using the example verb "sing":

In other words, only THIRD PERSON SINGULAR subjects (he, she and it) have to have a verb with -s.

1．主语是第三人称单数的行为动词的一般现在时否定形式是在行为动词的前面加doesn’t（does not），这时要注意把谓语动词还原为动词原形。

Peter has breakfast every day.

Peter doesn’t have breakfast every day.

Paul plays basketball on Wednesday..

Paul doesn’t play basketball on Wednesday.

2主语是第三人称单数的行为动词的一般现在时疑问式是在句首加助动词does，后面的谓语动词还原为动词原形．其肯定与否定回答用Yes, X does./ No, X doesn’t.
