总评分标准

Part I Word Formation 共10小题，每小题1分，共10分。

Part II Vocabulary and Structure共40小题，每小题1分，共40分。

Part III Reading Comprehension共4篇文章，20小题，每小题2分，共40分。

Part IV Cloze共20小题，每小题1分，共20分。

Part V Translation共10题，每题2分，共20分。

Part VI Writing共20分。

翻译和写作部分的评分标准

一、翻译部分

1. 翻译只强调忠实原文，语意表达通顺，不强调语言文雅程度。

2. 整个句子全部译出，忠实原文语义，符合目的语表达习惯，无语法错误，

词语正确，给2分。

3. 句子主体部分已译出（主、谓、宾），基本符合原文意思，表达基本正确，

给1.5分。有语法错误者（时态、语态、主谓一致等）每处扣0.5分。

4. 复合句子，只译出了一半者，给1分。

5. 句子基本结构翻译不全，句义表达出了一部分，给0.5~1分。

6. 其余情况，评分者可酌情给分。

二、写作部分

作文满分为20分。评阅标准共分5等：3分、7分、11分、15分及19分。具体评分标准为：

3分 —— 条理不清，思路紊乱，语言支离破碎或大部分句子均有错误，

且多数为严重错误。

7分 —— 基本切题。表达思想不够清楚，文字勉强连贯，语言错误相

当多，且一些是严重错误。

11分 —— 基本切题。有些地方表达思想不够清楚，具有连贯性，有较

多的语言错误。

15分 —— 切题。表达思想清楚，文字连贯；但有少量语言错误。 19分 —— 切题。表达思想清楚，文字通顺，连贯性较好。基本上无语

此外，字数不足应酌情扣分。

Why I Attended College？

Why did I choose to attend college? Is the four-year academic life worthwhile? I have put these questions to myself at many times in the past two years, and now I have reached the conclusion that college education is something that I truly want and it is worthwhile.

I chose to attend college because I enjoy learning. I felt that I wanted to continue to study, I simply couldn’t end my education upon graduation from the high school and enter the working world so soon. I chose to attend college also because I feel college is more than a place which offers knowledge. It also exposes one to a rich variety of ideas and help. Finally, I feel that in today’s world, a college education has become almost essential if one wishes to compete in the job market. Attending college is a practical and necessary step to ensure a secure future for myself.

For these reasons, I never consider myself unhappy, miserable or unfairly burdened, and I never think attending college is a waste of time and money.
