Step 2 Presentation (15mins)

1. Ask the students to think about what they will get after three years’ study. Write diploma on the

blackboard.

2. Show a diploma to Ss to make sure that Ss understand what a diploma looks like.

3. Ask Ss to guess what is said inside the diploma. Then read the two samples to get the information.

4. Help the Ss to translate the two Samples into Chinese.

5. Make sure that Ss know the differences between diploma and certificate.

--Ask the Ss to practice the dialogues in pairs and encourage them to make dialogues by themselves. --Explain some language points:
