简介报名时间：每年5月，11月考试时间：6月，12月第三个星期六

成绩发布：每年考试过后8月份或9月份公布成绩并颁发成绩单，根据教育部规定四六级考试不设置及格线，四级425分以上可以报考六级，所以大家普 遍认为四六级的合格线为425分。英语四六级的总分为710分。

试卷结构

写作一、命题方式有：给出题目、或规定情景、或给出段首句续写、或给出关键词写短文、或看图作文。要求内容切题，文理通顺，表达正确，语篇连贯， 无重大语言错误。 二、评分方式 global scoring:从内容和语言两个方面对作文进行综合评判。要考虑作文 是否切题，是否充分表达思想，也要考虑所用语言(英语)是否能清楚而明 确地表达思想。阅卷人员根据思想内容和语言表达的总体印象给出奖励分 (reward scores),而不是按语言点的错误数目扣分。

写作三、评分标准： 2分: 条理不清，思路紊乱，语言支离破碎或在大部分句子均有错误，且多 数为严重错误。 5分: 基本切题。表达思想不清楚，连贯性差。有较多的严重语言错误。 8分:基本切题。有些地方表达思想不够清楚，文字勉强连贯；语言错误相当 多，其中有一些是严重错误。 11分: 切题。表达思想清楚，文字连贯，但有少量语言错误。

14分: 切题。表达思想清楚，文字通顺，连贯性好。基本上无语言错误，仅有个别小错误。
