Topic: Humanitarian intervention and the situation in Syria

First of all, Syria is experiencing a period of its history is very difficult period, and national integrity and unity. The Syria current events described a lot of incomplete or biased view, inconsistent with the actual situation field is happening. Should be a comprehensive view and review the events in Syria. Iran as an absolute ally of Syria, will support Syria.

Second, in recent months, there have been many terrorist attacks in Syria, the last is the number of days occur in Aleppo, causing great loss of life and public property. Just yesterday, we even hear an Al Qaeda leaders called for a campaign of violence against the people and government of Syria. We should be very clear, and condemns all external interference, violence and incitement to terrorism.

Third, we believe that, through a peaceful, by the domestic political process led to solve the legitimate needs of the people, without outside intervention, is the only way out of the crisis. Coercive sanctions, pressure and attempt to interfere in the internal affairs of Syria will only lead to political and social crisis, impact on the entire region. Therefore, our goal should be to find a lead to the establishment of a more democratic countries, increase the economic and political participation, and strengthen national unity and progress, thus to ensure that the people of Syria's public order, national security, stability and prosperity. It must be borne in mind, the primary and ultimate responsibility for Syria's security and stability is to the people and government of Syria.

Fourth, Syria has always played an important role in the middle east. Syria's chronic instability and unrest will for peace and stability in the region of influence. We should work together to consider a comprehensive, effective and practical method, to help find a peaceful solution of the crisis, and not any outside interference. We think, the United Nations, including the main role of the general assembly is to help promote Syria between political groups and the government of Syria contact, as part of a leadership by the Syria people's political process. It must take into account the Syria government based on the wishes of the people of Syria have announced that the reform process, must also ensure respect for national sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity. Russia has proposed a talk in Moscow's initiative. This appeal should be response for all groups.

On the question of Syria，Iran has the following recommendations:

1. The economic sanctions "the most seriously affected the innocent, especially the

2. The embargo and other measures shall be limited, can not affect theinnocent

consideration of human rights issues.

an authorized dialogue;

6. Parties to stop fighting for the protection of civilians and achieve

stop armed violence in all its forms;
