基督教箴言简介(3)

In your line of all things, you should make decisions. 在你所行的一切事上，你应做主。（做自己命运的主宰） A righteous man falls seven times, he rises again. 义人虽七次跌倒，仍必兴起。（自古英雄多磨难）

You should promptly work, to when he need to give you reward. 辛勤工作，上帝必有回报。（天道酬勤） 7、追求知识和智慧的箴言

《圣经》中一直宣扬上帝致高无上的智慧，只要信仰上帝是你唯一的神，耶和华就会赐你智慧和知识。箴言中劝慰人们求知的箴言很多，选录如下：7

Wisdom brings us back to childhood. 知识使我们年轻。

If you want to hear, and it will get wisdom; if you listened, will become a wise person.

你若爱听，就必得到智慧；你若侧耳静听，必成为智慧的人。

People to seek the wisdom are blessed. 寻求智慧的人是有福的。

Wisdom is better than weapons of war. 智慧胜过兵器。（不战而屈人之兵）

The price of wisdom is beyond rubies. 智慧的价值胜过珍珠。

Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.

学习各类规则，你则知道该于什么时候恰如其分地来打破它们。(知己知彼) Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality. 分享知识，是永生的一条途径。

When you are young, there is always no savings to you. What can you have? 你青年时，没有积蓄，到你老时，你能有什么？(少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲)

8、关于治国方略的箴言

历史上宗教和政府总是有着千丝万缕的联系，在基督教的发展史上，曾经有很长的政教合一的时期，或者教会对国王有着极大的控制权。因而《圣经》的箴言中有许多治理国家的警句：8

How good is a timely word!

谋士众多，所谋乃成。（忠言逆耳，仗义执言，国之大幸）

It is not good to punish an innocent man, or to flog officials for their integrity. 判罚义人为不善,责打君子为不义。

A ruler who oppresses the poor is like a driving rain that leaves no crops. 欺压贫民，好像暴雨冲没粮食。

Do not hate the work of labor, and the high for the formulation of agriculture. 不要厌恶劳动和至高的农业。

If there is no Law of God, man becomes a beast in the jungle.

若是没有上帝的律法，人就会变成丛林中的野兽。（无规矩不成方圆） If there is no justice, what is power? However, organized bandits Bale. 如果没有正义，政权是什么？不过是有组织的强盗罢了。 A great forest is set on fire by a small spark. 星星之火，可以燎原。

Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment. 不可按外貌断定是非，总要按公平断定是非。

The king that faithfully judges the poor, his throne shall be established for ever. 君王诚实对待百姓，王位永远不倒。

基督教箴言是《圣经》中的精华，是千百年来鼓励人们树德、立志、进取的

不竭的动力源泉，是西方文化的瑰宝，完全可以和我国的《论语》等诸多经典著作相媲美。但由于语言文化的差异，基督教箴言的魅力还远远没有被我们所接受和欣赏。以上所选的箴言和理解尚为肤浅，与整个基督教箴言的内容相比只是沧海一粟，今后笔者将以此为契机，更加全面翔实地搜集资料，并通过两种文化的对照比较，以期有新的收获。
