Enter a value for the off-axis angle relative to the boresight in degrees. The gain of the antenna will be calculated from the appropriate antenna template at this angle. 输入和轴线的偏离角度(偏馈),以角度为单位。程序会根据相应的偏离角度进行计算。

Off axis gain is calculated from side lobe templates recommended by the ITU. All antennas are designed to operate within the confines of these recommended templates so values calculated can be considered the worst case. Select either the co-polar component radio button or the cross polar component radio button.

Calculate C/Im Improvement

Sometimes transponder intermodulation interference figures assume 100% loading of the transponder with carriers. This can lead to rather pessimistic link budgets in the case where only a fraction of the available transponder bandwidth is occupied due to power limitations.

This form may be used to calculate the net improvement in intermodulation interference. This is often the case when multiple carriers are sharing the same transponder in \limited\mode.

The AUTO C/Im feature used in the link budgets are sensitive to transponder loading and automatically perform this calculation. There is no longer any need to perform this calculation separately as with some previous versions.

有时转发器交调干扰的值默认为转发器100%载波负载的情况。如果因为功率限制,转发器只有一部分带宽可以使用的话这个值就比较悲观。 这个工具可以来计算交调信噪比的净提升量。在多个载波共用转发器处于功率限定模式下经常用到。

在链路计算中程序会考虑到转发器C/Im的情况计算相应的结果。不同于以前的版本,现在链路计算中不需要单独的手动计算这个值。

Enter the bandwidth occupied by a single carrier in MHz.

If the carriers are different in nature than you can enter any value as long as the product of the number of carriers and the occupied bandwidth per carrier are equivalent to your requirements. 输入单个载波占用的转发器带宽,单位MHz。 如果载波大小有区别,你可以随意输入这个值,只要载波数量和载波占用带宽符合你的需求。

Calculate Wind Loading

风载荷计算

This module calculates the overturning moment and subsequent ballast to stabilize a solid or mesh satellite dish in windy conditions. Ballast is normally made up from a number of concrete blocks.

The model assumes a weighted base frame with the antenna mounted on a tubular pole. The wind force is assumed to be acting at a height of 9 metres above ground level with the wind perpendicular to the face of the dish (worst case).

这个模块计算有风情况下的扭矩和对应需要的底座配重,分为实面天线和网眼天线。配重一般使用一些混凝土块。

计算的模型设置为一个天线通过一根管连接在配重底座上,风力默认为地面以上9米的风速,垂直于天线面。(最坏情况)

Design Wind Speed

Enter the design wind speed of the antenna in kilometres per hour (km/h). 输入天线的设计风速,以km/h为单位。

Dish Centre to Base Frame Distance

天线面中心到底座距离

Enter the distance from the dish centre (antenna mounting point on pole) to the base of the frame in metres (m). This is approximately the height of the mounting pole.

输入从天线面中心到底座的距离,以米为单位。这一般约等于支撑柱的长度。

Pole to Frame Edge Distance

支撑柱到底座边缘距离

Enter the distance from the base of the antenna mounting pole to the edge of the frame in metres (m).

Total Assembly Weight

整天线重量

Supply the total weight of the antenna, mounting pole and the base frame in kilogrammes (kg). 天线整体的重量,包括反射面,支撑柱,底座,以千克为单位。

Major Diameter

Enter the major diameter of the antenna in metres (m). This may be the same as the minor diameter for a symmetrical parabolic dish.

输入反射面的外径,对于对称抛物面天线外径等于内径。

Minor Diameter

天线内径

Enter the minor diameter of the antenna in metres (m). This may be the same as the major diameter for a symmetrical parabolic dish.

Select the \the dish is of a perforated construction.

如果天线面是无孔的,选择Solid,如果是有孔的,选择Mesh。

This module may be used to process many sites based on data stored in a text file. The results are not displayed instead they are placed on the clipboard ready for pasting into 'Microsoft Excel' or similar products.
