A brief history of newspapers

When and where was the first newspaper printed? The German-language Relation aller Fürnemmen und gedenckwürdigen Historien, printed from 1609 onwards by Johann Carolus in Strasbourg, is often recognized as the first newspaper.

The first newspaper in China《中外新报》was published in 1858. The first newspaper in France was published in 1631, La Gazette . Corantos was published in England in 1621. In Boston in 1690, Benjamin Harris published Public Occurrences Both Foreign and Domestic.
