Unit 1 I like maths!

教学目标:

1、教学时间的表达法，使学生能熟练地说出整点和半点的时间。

2、教学上课的词组，要求学生能听、说、读。

教学重点及难点：

1、使学生正确使用时间的表达法。

2、使学生能听、说、读、写六个学习科目的单词。

教学用具：

磁带、课件

教学过程：

一、 Greetings

二、 leading in

T: I am new here, so all of you don’t know me, right? It doesn’t matter. I’d like to introduce myself. My family name is Tan, so you can call me Miss Tan. I am a teacher, an English teacher. Now, it’s your turn to introduce yourselves to me. Is there anyone on duty today? Who is on duty?

S1: I am.

T: Nice to meet you.

T: What day is it today?

S1: It’s Monday.

T: Is everyone here?

(Ask two more students about their names, hobbies and so on.)

T: Good! All of you have done a good job! Now, I’d like to introduce three friends of mine. They are all teachers. Look here. （①投影一位正在上美术课的教师图片。） He is my friend, Mr Wu. He is an art teacher. Do you know “art”?

Ss: （学生看图片可以知道art 的意思是指美术）

T: Let’s see when they have an art lesson. （②投影一个课程时间表） Ss: Eleven.

T: Yes, they have art at twelve o’clock. （③投影句子：They have art at twelve o’clock.）

（带读生词art, at, o’clock）

（同样过程教学chemistry, history, half, past, what about ④投影一位正在上化学实验课的教师。⑤投影一个课程时间表。⑥投影句子：They don’t have chemistry on Monday. ⑦投影一位正在上历史课的教师。⑧投影一个课程时间表。⑨投影句子：They have history at half past two in the afternoon.）

三、 Practice.

T: Now, I will give you some examples. (Ask a student to help make a dialogue by using the time table. ⑩投影一个课程时间表。) What day is it today?

T: (Ask another student to make one more example if they still can’t understand how to do the exercises.) Discuss in your small groups. If you’ve done a good job, you’ll get a red star.

四、 Listening

T: Look at the pictures, listen and repeat the time. (Students’ book, Page 42, Activity 1. ①投影四个时钟。) Finish activity 2 in your books.

T: （②投影六个句子。)Now, listen to a dialogue, check the true sentences. (Check the answers.) Listen again. Read after the radio this time and check your answers again. (③投影课文。Show the correct answers after they check theirs.)

五、 A match.

每个学生给一份密封的练习题，第一名的10分，第二名的9分，以此类推，给前十名的同学各加上不等的分数。

六、 Homework.

Finish activity 6 on Page 97.
