第一课时

Ⅰ.Warmer:

1. Greetings.

2. Sing a song:

Our school will shine.

Ⅱ.Presentation:

1.Look at the flags, call out the country.

2. Review these words.

China, England, the USA, Australia.

3.Sentences: I’m / She’s / He’s from ….

4.Review the words of animals.

monkey, lion, horse, zebra, panda.

5.T:Today we’ll have a visit to the zoo to see the animals.

Unit 5 A visit to the zoo Lesson 5

Ⅲ.New Lesson:

1.New words: kangaroo, penguin

T: There’re are many animals at the zoo. We have learned some about them. Now look at these animals, do you know them?

Show the pictures and repeat.

2. Game: What missing?

3. bamboo

Look at the pandas, what’s their favorite food?

Spell and say the word in groups.

4.Do you know where are penguins from?

Teach ‘the South Pole’, pay attention to the big letters.

5. Play a game.

Touch the word card on the blackboard and say the word.

6.Ask and answer:

Where are … from? They are from ….

7.Learn to say.

(1) Listen and point.

(2) Listen and repeat.

(3) Look and say.

Ⅴ.Homework:

Read the text.

Ⅰ.Warmer:

2. Sing a song: Old Macdonald Had A Farm

Ⅱ.Presentation:

1. Review the words of animals: Monkey, panda, kangaroo….

2. Review the past tense:

am/is—was are—were buy—bought do—did

go—went swim—swam take—took have—had

3. say a chant.

Did you have a good time? Yes, I did.

I bought a book. That’s a nice book.

Did you have a good time? Yes, I did.

I took a photo. That’s a nice photo.

4.板书课题:Lesson 6

Ⅲ.New Lesson:

1. T: I had a good time last Sunday. I took some photos. Look, I took

a photo of the birds. That’s a nice photo.

Follow me: a photo of the birds, of the birds, I took a photo of the birds.

And look, I took a photo of the…pandas .

(操练: I took a photo of the… .)

And guess! Where did I go? I went to the zoo.

T: The zoo! I visited the Zoo. So today we’ll learn Unit 3 A Visit to the Zoo Lesson 6.

2. Teach: What animals did you see? We saw… .

T: Today I want to show you my visit to the zoo. Please look carefully a nd remenber what you’ll see.(Look at the video.)

3. Teach: We ate some bananas.

Give a candy to a nice girl. Have her eat it.

4. Teach: I bought a book about penguins.

T: We saw many animals just now. What’s your favorite animal?

T: My favorite animal is penguin. But I didn’t see the penguins at the zoo. So I bought a book about penguins. Look, here it is.

5. Learn to say.
