Confucius: humans (or at least male humans) possess the capacity for perfection, although they must consciously strive to actualize it.

Mencius: human nature is good, and people are naturally inclined toward virtue. Unfortunately, the negative elements of society tend to corrupt many people, and only a few are able to overcome them.

Laozi: humans at birth are like uncarved blocks of wood (pu) and as they get older, society molds and shapes them. Education brutalizes people and creates the seeds of social turmoil and negative behavior.

As far as I can see,Mencius's view has deeper meaning and truth.He thought,people are kind,and they have good virtue.Social negative factors corrode people's hearts. A case in point is Yaoming.When he made great achievements in the NBA,he refused to be the spokesman for money,but chose to become the chairman of the Basketball Association and make his own contribution to the national sports cause.

As a matter of fact,people in mounting numbers have come to realize the significance of setting up correct outlook on life,values,political outlook.Therefore,it is of great necessity to inspire this awareness.For one thing,the society as a whole should forge a wholesome atmosphere to appreciate and advocate activities of the right view of human nature.For another,it is advisable for youngsters to set up correct outlook on life by participating in these activities.
