Analysis of the Composition and Structures Characteristics of the Greening Plants on the Roads of Nanning City

Abstract

For the roads’ virescence construction in Nanning city, we know and select the four representative main roads in Nanning city through the investigation, then combine the line and the sample district method to investigate them , and record the plant’s sorts ,quantity, the status of the growth , acreage, disposition , and so on in the each selected district. The results suggest that: (1) among the 42 staple sorts of the roads’ virescence plants in Nanning city in common, there are 19 arbors ,21 shruds and 2 herbage plants. (2) on the each road , firstly, along Minzu Road, the average height of the arbors is 7.08 metre, which covered 55.1 percent, and their average circumference is 24.1 centimetre,the average height of shruds is 1.20metre, which covered 29.6 percent; secondly, along Youai crossroads, the average height of the arbors is 5.84 metre ,which covered 51.6 percent,and their average circumference is 20.4 centimetre, the average height of shruds is 0.543 metre, these shruds are the lowest among the four roads, which covered lowly ,too ,only 22.8 percent; thirdly, along Jiangnan Road, the average height of the arbors is 5.50 metre, which covered 42.9 percent, and their average circumference is 21.1 centimetre, the average height of shruds is 0.989 metre, which covered 28.6 percent; lastly, along Biyun Road , the average height of the arbors is the highest among the investigated roads, which is 8.98 metre, whose coverage ratio is the largest ,up to 70.8 percent, their average circumference is 25.5 centimetre, it is the biggest in the average arbor circumference among the four roads ,this accords to the relationship of the each character of the virescence plants, namely , the average height of the shruds is 2.23 metre, which covered 26.6 percent. In a word ,from the good to the not good , the sequence of the each road’s greenbelt configuration is that: Biyun road is the first, Minzu Road follows that, then is Youai crossroads, Jiangnan Road is the last . At last , we will propose to the selection and the disposition of the virescence plants on the roads in Nanning city. Keywords: the virescence of the roads; structure; the Nanning city
