李安导演作为一位在国际影坛具有一定影响力的华裔导演，其身上兼具了东西方文化的内涵底蕴，东西方文化的相互交融、完美的呈现在李安的电影作品中。能够对李安电影进行比较系统的探索是一种荣幸，更是一种责任。
