摘 要

全球定位系统GPS是英文Navigation Satellite Timing and Ranging/Global Positioning System的字头缩写词NAVSTAR/GPS的简称。它的含义是利用导航卫星进行测时和测距,GPS是当前最先进的精密卫星导航定位系统。

全球定位系统是美国国防部为陆、海、空三军研制的新一代卫星导航定位系统,是继美国阿波罗登月计划和航天飞机后的第三个庞大的空间工程。除了在军事领域的应用之外,近十余年来,GPS精密定位技术,已经广泛渗透到经济建设和科学实验的各个领域。比如:它已经成功地应用于大地测量和城市控制网;正在应用于民用飞机的航线导航和精密进场着陆;应用于陆地车辆的智能、交通管理;应用于地球资源勘察、大型工程项目设计测量与形变监测;应用于航测与卫星遥感等。GPS技术的高精度和自动化深刻地影响着地球动力学、大地测量学、天文学及其相关学科领域,它在这些基础学科的应用研究与开拓工作方面取得了迅速的反战和卓越的成就,证实了GPS巨大的优势和潜力。随着全球定位系统的不断改进,硬、软件的不断完善,应用领域正在不断地拓广。

GPS可以在全球范围为数量不限的海陆空天用户提供全天候的、连续精确的位置、速度和时间信息,其建成和成功应用时现代科学技术发展的结晶,是导航技术现代化的重要标志,为美国带来了巨大的军事和经济利益,也引起了世界各国的普遍关注。一些国家相继投资建设自己的卫星导航系统或增强系统,如俄罗斯的GLONASS、欧盟的GALILEO系统和中国的北斗系统等。 关键词:全球定位系统、GPS、高精度

GPS navigation and monitoring

Abstract

Global Positioning System GPS is the English Navigation Satellite Timing and Ranging / Global Positioning System of the prefix acronym NAVSTAR / GPS for short. It means that when using navigation satellite measurements and ranging, GPS is the most advanced precision satellite navigation and positioning system.

GPS is the U.S. Department of Defense, Navy, and Air Force developed a new generation of satellite navigation and positioning system, following the U.S. Apollo missions and space shuttle after the third large space projects. In addition to the military field applications, the past decade, GPS precise positioning technology, has been widely infiltrated into economic construction and scientific experiments in various fields. For example: it has been applied to geodetic control network and the city; is used in civil aircraft navigation and precision approach and landing routes; applied to land vehicles, intelligence, traffic management; applied to earth resources surveys, measurement of large-scale engineering project design and deformation monitoring; used in aerial and satellite remote sensing. High-precision GPS technology and automation profound impact on geodynamics, geodesy, astronomy and related disciplines, it is in these basic disciplines of applied research and pioneering work has made rapid and remarkable success of anti-war confirmed a great advantage and potential of GPS. With the continuous improvement of the global positioning system, hardware, software, continuous improvement, applications are constant Extension.
