随着经济的发展与社会的进步，人们的衣着打扮已不断趋向多样化与个性化，特别是高级成衣等更呈现出风格各异、样式时尚、结构多变的特点。而简约风格的服装反而能在丰富多样的款式中为其实现提供更大的可能性，可以快捷又合理的获得优美的服装造型与板型，更准确严谨地表现艺术造型的个性特征。因而，简约风格的服饰已越来越吸引人的眼球，也越来越多的被运用到服装生产中。

本文从简约风格的发展着手，较全面的介绍了简约风格以及在服装设计中的运用，着重论述了对简约风格的认识和在服装领域中的运用，以及在服装设计中的意义。并通过举例来说明，简约风格也完全可以诠释服装所要表达的含义，服装造型的准确把握和创新破格有仗于立体裁剪。

简约风格不是流行，不是潮流。它永远用一种低调的经典带来对时装最精粹的诠释。使服装设计的实用性和艺术性完美的结合起来，以用来表达设计师所追求的独特的着装风貌。
