I．Business knowledge商务知识 1. 包装

包装是一门艺术，在现代商贸活动中，包装变得越来越重要。要使商品包得既美观又结实，在最颠簸的旅途中也始终不变形，操作中卖方应特别注意包装的特点，外观和装璜。

包装应具备以下特点：1)美观坚固；2)容易搬运；3)适于长途运输；4)能防止损坏；5)防水／防震；6)标准化。 包装的外观及装璜应做到：

1)新颖美观；2)小巧玲珑；3)富有吸引力；4)宜于橱窗陈列；5)便于在超级市场等地销售。

好的包装除能使商品更加生色外，还能引起顾客的兴趣，因而能促进货物的销售。

按买方包装指示包装完后，出口包装上要标明唛头，其中主要包括： 1)收货人的标记一包括目的港。

2)当局所需要的官方标记一有些国家需要在每件货物的箱(包)上标有货物的生产国名，以及重量和尺寸。

3)特别指示或警告一为了货主和运输部门的双方利益，在包装上须印刷搬运方式、装货方式、起吊方式等特别指示或警告，例如： 此端向上 易碎物品 请勿近热 勿用挂钩 低温存放 切勿下扔 玻璃制品 小心轻放 易腐物品 上方

保持干燥 此端开启 禁放甲板上 易燃物品 在此起吊小心轻放 2. 运输

就外贸而言，运输大多由远洋货轮进行，或不定期货船或定期班轮。1

用定期班轮装运一批货物，第一步是要明确运费率。开报某批货物的运费率即构成承运人的报价。只有托运人接受所开报的运费后，承运人才能保留所需舱位，并把装货提单交给托运人或其代理。这份装运提单是开给码头收货员的。当货物运抵码头后，凭该装货提单换一张码头收据或一张大副签发的收据。这是一份承运人在码头的代表出具的简短证明书，证明货物已收到且完好无损。这是一份临时收据，在船启航之前，必须换成正式的海运提单。

海运提单是装运的重要单证，有三个作用：

1)货物收据； 2)在某种条件下履行某种义务的契约； 3)所述货物所有权的证据。

提单上注有“指示”字样时，该提单则成了一种可转让的票据，用作货款扭保或其他目的。以这种方式开立的提单为记名提单；另一方面，直运提单是芹给特定收货人的，这种提单不可转让。

货物装运完毕后，不管交易是按FOB、CFR还是CIF成交，卖方都应立即通知买方。对于按FOB和CFR成交的交易，买方收到卖方的装船通知后应立即办理保险。按FOB成交的交易，除在合约或信用证中有明确规定外，卖方在装运前应要求买方告知运载货物的船名，这已是习惯做法。

如果从一港口到另一港口无直达船而需要转船时，就须用不定期货船。为避免将来会发生争议，卖方应先征得买方同意，将所订货物转船运至目的港。因此，在合约及信用证中必须制订“允许转船”的条款。 撰写装运信函通常有以下目的：

1)催促早日装运；2)修改装运条款；3)发出装船通知；4)寄送装船单据等。

卖方应趁通知买方货已装船的机会，回顾一下交易的过程，并需表示进一步发展业务的愿望。

1. Product Packaging

A: As for the packing of the products , we would like to use our own brand

name and also include a list of ingredients.

B: This is no big problem. As long as the additional markings and designs you

require do not go against our country' s policy, we can accept all of this. A: In that case, if we provide the packing materials, can you pack the products

according to our specification?

B: As long as you pay the processing fee, we are already set up to do the

2. Shipment Packing

A: How do you plan to pack our order?

B: The standard packing, for this kind of products leaving our factory is that

each item is inpidually packed in polyethylene. Every two dozen is packed in a paper carton. Before shipping, we pack them in wooden cases, 10 cartons each.

A: Please make sure you use moisture proof packing. In the last goods we

received there were a few items damaged by dampness.

B: Don't worry. We are going to stamp a "KEEP DRY "sign in the outside of

each wooden case.

A: Oh, by the way, I'd like also to ask you to combine two styles by packing

them in one big case to make the distribution to retailers easier. 译文：运输包装

3. Delivery Date

A: We hope you can begin delivery of the goods in the first part of August.

That way, we could receive them by September.

B; The first part of August is impossible. This year the workload in our factory

is really heavy.

A: You know, what we have ordered is all of a very seasonal in nature. If we

miss the season, we'll take a. big loss.

B: We understand this. We'll definitely ship them as early as possible. We'll try

our best to deliver the goods by the middle of October. Any earlier is just impossible.

A; Please, by all means, it has to be on time. 译文：交货日期
