交替传译形式：演讲者发言-口译员翻译 译员传译过程：信息输入（Source Language源语）-信息

分析-信息输出（Target Language目标语）

时间长度：2-3min or more

Basic Requirements for Interpreters

1. Linguistic proficiency（语言能力） e.g. mastery of both languages, acute hearing, exceptionally large vocabulary 2. Encyclopedic knowledge and cross-cultural awareness (百科知识和跨文化意识) “An interpreter should know something of everything and everything of something.

3. Psychological competence（心理素质）

e.g. being quick-witted and calm 4.Mastery of interpretation skills and techniques（口译技能） e.g. note-taking, generalization, simplification
