SUMMARY

TPL Corporation Limited (“TPL”) has identified potential thermal coal and other minerals within the Canning Basin in Western Australia (“WA”). The Canning Basin has an areal extent 2.5 times the size of the Bowen Basin in Queensland and has been significantly underexplored due to its remoteness and lack of geological data. However its proximity to India and China, who have only recently started importing thermal coal, the demand of which is projected to increase rapidly in coming years, has changed the perception of the Canning Basin.

Based on the 1:1 million scale compilation map that was released in December 2008 by Geosciences Australia in the Surface Geology Of Australia, there are currently 260 pegged geological targets based on the known location of the sub-outcrop of the coal prospective Lightjack Formation for evaluation. TPL has a significant number of these targets contained within its 38 tenements. Upon granting of these applications, TPL will have the largest land position in the Canning Basin.

Rey Resources Ltd have been delineating coal resources in the western Canning Basin (>500Mt resources delineated to date) and with the WA State Government making recent public statements

regarding construction of a deep water port at Point Torment close to Derby (Colin Barnett, March 11, on ABC Radio: ”Our main discussion with INPEX was about their supply base being located near Derby at a place called Point Torment. That’s something I’m very keen to achieve. That would bring a great new economic prosperity for that Derby region.”). Against such a background TPL sees a dramatic change occurring in the Canning Basin.

Metallurgical work indicates that the specification for Canning Basin thermal coal discovered to date is typical of Asian traded products. In addition, the Canning Basin would cut the shipping time to India or China by about a third compared to the Bowen Basin in Queensland. These factors could position the Canning Basin as the supply centre for thermal coal to the great emerging economies of India and China. TPL believes that the rewards for investors well positioned in this region could be substantial. This is an outstanding opportunity to invest in a potentially large scale project at a very early stage. TPL is looking for partners to share in this vision.

TPL has conducted a thorough review of the historical data available for the relevant areas of the Canning Basin, including:

Summary of the regional geology and a detailed description of the Permian stratigraphy of the

Fitzroy Trough;

Summary of the published data on Rey’s Duchess Paradise Resource;
