Abstract

This article is a research on the phenomena “Home Schooling”, aiming to discuss the reasons why more and more children and parents choose this kind of education. Not only does this article study the concept, origin, reasons and current situation of “home schooling”, in order to help people understand what “home schooling” is, but also does some research on education in schooling nowadays. It compares those two kinds of education and finds out the advantages of “home schooling” and the problems of schooling education to help schooling develop and improve.By doing this research, compared to schooling education, we find out that “home schooling” focuses more on the students’ individual development, innovation and practical consciousness, which, on the contrary, schooling education lacks Schooling still focuses on exam-oriented education. schooling education should take action to reform the current structure to meet the demands for more effective education from the students, parents and society.
