As a teacher, I enjoy teaching very much. Every class, the first thing I do is to cheer the students up. Saying hello to them, telling them a story are all effective to serve this purpose. Then, I will mention what we’ve learned last time, and introduce the new lesson. After that, in the process of studying the reading material, I will explain the most important and difficult points to them, and let them check their understanding by asking each other questions. They can also ask me questions if they have difficulty in understanding part of the material. Based on their understanding, I will ask them to discuss with their classmates to learn more from the material, which enables them to talk freely and to apply what they have

learned into practice. If there is no question, the homework will be given to let them review

things they learn in class.

The organization of my workplace

I work in a middle school. School board, teaching and research offices of each subject, logistic branch together carry out the school’s management, teaching, and other designed functions. School board makes decisions on teaching strategies, research work, student management and other things. The principal and the deputy principal are in charge of the school board. Teaching and research offices of each subject are responsible for the teaching and research work. Each of the offices has a director managing the non-academic affairs for the office

and assessing teachers’ teaching and research work. Logistic branch offers all kinds of services to both students and teachers, to enable their smooth teaching, study by providing a comfortable living place. Director of the Logistic branch supervises the caretaker, cleaning staff, the cooks and other people who assist the operation of the logistic services. Generally, my workplace is a very good place for teachers and students to achieve their purposes

respectively. I love it!
