After watching The Matchstick Man

At first, I think The Matchstick Man just like an atom bomb that gives us audiences tremendous surprise after the end of the film. The viewers are attracted by a series of unexpected footprints which set by the talented and humourous director , Ridley Scott ,and feel sympathetic to the hero, Roy ,who tells us much essence of life. After watching this small cost movie , It seems that we are cheated as the same as the hero in the film. I have to say that the Roy, who was acted by Nicholas Cage and as a tricker being deceived by his hearted daughter and close colleague ,performs really well, especially the time being together with his loved daughter. I can’t describe how surprised I feel when heard the news that everything was a lie. In this film, Roy, Nicholas Cage acting , an international transnational deceiver, is a seeming patient with the obsession, feeling uncomfortable outdoors and disgusting the tiny of dirty which is actually unseen and often see a doctor , his psychologist. With his dependent partner, Frank , they make a fortune through a variety of tricks and never get nothing. Meanwhile,

a 14-year-old girl named Angela come to Roy’s world. Roy find himself gradually love his suddenly girl, and will devote his everything for her. But just when Roy lost himself on his missing girl, he has already step into the trap placed by the people around him including his sudden daughter. In the end of the film, Roy don’t sell his intrigues, but sell ordinary goods. And his companion, daughter, psychologist and someone who he believed ever has already been at large. However, something is dramatic and he forgive his re-missing daughter.

Here, I want to say, just a joke, just a cheating we have never met with. In our daily life, we have belief in somebody easily and finally get hurt from the places which we think are the safest ones. In the process, we learned that hearts every belly and the most reliable people are ourselves. I’m not meaning that we shouldn’t trust anybody but that can’t devote ourselves quickly to others when we don’t clearly know who they are and what they do, because life often pulls our leg.

In the end ,thanks for giving me a good lesson.
