Abstract:Inthepresenceoftetramethylammoniumhydroxide(TMAH)ascatalyst,anewsofteneraminoanddodecylco2modifiedpolysiloxanes(ADMPS)wassynthesizedbybulk

βpolymerizationofoctamethylcyclotetrasiloxane(D4),N22

γaminoethyl22aminoproylmethyldimethoxysilane(YDH2602),dodecylmethyldimethoxysilane(HD2109)andhexamethyldis2

iloxane(MM).ThechemicalstructureofADMPSwaschar2acterizedbyIRandHNMR.Itwasappliedforthecondi2tioningof100%whitecotton.TheresultsshowedthatwhentheaminovalueofADMPSwasincreased,thebendingrigidi2tyofthetreatedcottondecreasedanditswrinklerecoveryan2gleincreased,whichenhancedsofthandfeel,theelasticityandtheanticreaseperformanceofthetreatedcotton.AsthealkylvalueofADMPSwasincreased,thesofteness,elasticityandtheanticreaseperformanceofthetreatedcottondeclinedalittle,andthewhitenessandwettabilityunchanged.There2sultsshowedthatatsimilaraminocontent,thewettabilityandsmoothnessofcottontreatedwithADMPS(alkanevalue
