Persuasive speech outline: Aid Education . Niu

Introduction: When I was a little boy, in my primary school in the countryside, I

learn nothing about my notebooks. There were about 7 boys and girls we played

together, lived together, and study together (copy other study nothing), but now, only

one of the 7children has the opportunity to go to college, you know, it’s me. It’s due to

my father who sent me to study in city, and there, my math teacher tell me that I

should try to study well, and thus I tell myself “hey boy! let’s have a try” , As a result,

I rank first one from the last one with the kind help of my math teacher, of course, she

is beautiful, I appreciate her all my life! However my little friends, they admire my

life because they have to work hard to meet the needs of life, the salary is low.

Thesis statement: Education, I know, give a chance to live better. It is the leading

cause of poverty for young people in China. You could say we are buying our own

poverty, but sure, most of the students in this room wouldn’t want to cooly live. I am

determined to ask you help other little students just like me because they need your

help. China need you , the world need you! Today I would like to persuade you to

support teacher in order to more little children in the countryside can live better, and

the world live better!

I. The effect of poor education in China today is also very serious.

Bad education causes poverty problems. Children don't succeed in gaining

work that would help them to achieve a better life. 66% of them in Sichuan

mountainous area drop out of school. (1)

Poverty affects opportunities. Kids are kept from school because they have to

work to earn extra money. Cope with learning disabilities in elementary or

high school(2).

Study achievements of poor children are often lower than kids from financial

healthy homes. They are not able to perform well in reading and writing.

They are hold back a grade. Suspension and expelling (2) II. Understanding the seriousness of this issue is an overwhelming problem.

Luckily, we don’t need to just sit around and wait for the poor education to kill

many little children, there are some solutions come up with by the kind people

for all the people to accept and carry out all the time. They are good ways to

prevent the serous thing before it happens. These efforts are known as Support

Teacher in China programs.

Since it’s launch in 2001, Support Teacher in China programs .have become

more and more popular, because they have prove their effectiveness in

preventing poor study between little children. According to statistics in the

primary school named Hexie Xinghuo, 12 years after the initial Support

Teacher in China programs went into place, as many as 500 university have

taken part in the organization.

How the Support teacher in China programs work? Well, members who

III. joined the Support Teacher in China programs are university students and knowledgeable people, from different universities and different provinces around China. They teach basic math and English including dance and song, more importantly, they teach them how to study and why the little student should learn. About the controversities. Support Teacher in China programs has prove them that it is effective in reducing the ratio of dropping out of school according to the study from Chinese Ministry of Education. Example of the these is me. (3) The objections people have to working with Support Teacher in China

programs are all easily dismissed. Many college students have to back to school

to study. And they have to spend the vacations

Someone may say that the Support Teacher in China programs have

different effectiveness in different areas. Many college students only do it for

the freshness, and just think it is funny to teach little children. In fact, it’s

very serious, everyone have to pay their attention to all the students, and take

care of them.

Someone also may say that it can spend much money because it is far away

from your university. It’s really thing, but you will pay it ,it is only little part

of your money. The ratio of dropping out of school is getting diminished

.

Conclusion: Just remember the slogan of the Support Teacher in China programs :China need you ,the world need you! So, next vacation, you can join the

programs and grasp the potential chance to help little students. Learn more what you

can do and how much time you have to teach more young people to live better. Then

the rate of poverty concerned with poor education will definitely diminish! The

children need you, China need you and the world need you!
