（一） 生词

1. purely

adv. Completely and only, without anything else being involved. 完全地，纯粹地，仅仅

eg: ①. It is a decision that was taken for purely political reasons. 这是一个纯粹出于政治原因而做出的决定

②.I bumped into Mary purely by chance.我碰到玛丽纯属偶然

purely an simply 完全是因为，纯粹是因为

eg: I can tell you now, and I’m doing it purely and simply for the money.

2. seal

①. vt. to close an entrance or a container to stop air, water ect. From coming in or out of 把封住，封闭

eg: The window have been sealed up for many years.

②. vt. to close an envelope or pack 粘住，封住

Don’t seal the envelope yet.

③. Seal a friendship/ promise/ agreement 保证友谊/遵守诺言/达成协议
