At dinner the president ofthe university talked about thewonderful activities on campus(校园)including guest lectures andsocialga therings. He also madeitperfectly clear thatfree foodwould beoffered at allfutureevents.

He continued withexplanations ofprofessors, class sizes, activities, and sportingevents on campus.Ashe spoke,I began to realizethat this school, though notas good asmyfirstchoice, might be thebestone forme. It seemedsmall yetwith manygreatprograms. Itseemed challengingyetcaring.
