Different Countries Have Different Ways of Life

There are many differences among the United States, the United Kingdom and China. I want to analysis those differences from two aspects——family education and the way of eating.

Firstly, the family education among these three countries is completely different. In the United States, parents pay much attention to children’s independence. They think that children should do many things themselves. If parents do that for them, they would become lazy and dependent on others. When children make mistakes, American parents would punish them, let them realize their faults and warn them not to do that again. They would not pay much attention to children’s ability to learn to read but teach them to understand the world. In the United Kingdom, parents also pay much attention to teach their children to be well controlled by themselves. When the children do something wrong, they would be corrected even punished. There is no reason for them to get their parents’ overindulgence. The United Kingdom’s parents think if they spoil their children, they would never learn to be independent. They also have a prospect that they should be responsible for the children’s future. If the children couldn’t adapt the society, couldn’t make contributions to the society, the parents were not competent; they should feel guilty and review to the society. In China, I think the

family education is not really good, because many parents are spoiling their children. It’s not a good way to teach them. Chinese parents think children are very fragile and not able to do many little things. They also have a prospect that children should grow up according to their ways. In addition, children are told to be good both by parents and by teachers. They are not allowed to have any special ideas, which lead them to be not creative at all. Of course there are some advantages of Chinese family education, for instance, children don’t have to experience those terrible things. They can live a happy life happily in their childhood.

In my opinion, different countries have different education ways. People should take the essence and discard the dregs. Only in this way, children can grow up more happily and be more independent and creative. They can make good contributions to their societies.

Secondly, the ways of eating among the United States, the United Kingdom, and China are also different. On the other hand, the way of eating between the United States and the United Kingdom is homothetic. First of all, the tableware is different. Americans and the British people use fork and knife; and Chinese use chopsticks. And there are many rules in western tables, such as rules of the sequence of different fork and knives and so on. But

in China, people don’t need to worry about that. In addition, Chinese don’t need order a table before they eat, but American and British people should do that. And they also have to wear formal clothes, which is not necessary for Chinese.

Though there are more differences among the United States, the United Kingdom and China, I think people of different countries should learn from each other and try their best to make great contributions to their societies. Then, the world would become better and better.
