Teaching steps :

1. Greetings :Good morning/afternoon boys and girls .

Nice to see you again . How are you?

Would you like to talk about your winter vacations? Then give Ss several minutes to talk about it. And I will praise the boys or girls that they give us a good speech in English.

2. Warmer: 1) Introduce the idea of a newspaper to the Ss. I can show them one in Chinese and if possible, an English-language newspaper such as the China Daily.

2) Game: Brainstorm. Now have the Ss attention what they might find in a newspaper from the England.

3. Teaching Presentations: Activity 1. Listen, point, and find “will” .

1)Open your books to Module6, Unite1, please. Look at the pictures and describe them, please.

2) Ask the children to look at the pages and to guess as much information about what is happening in the story .

3)Point to the people doing different activities and ask What are they doing? Provide the new vocabulary and write it on the board .

4)Play the cassette. The children listen and follow in their books.

5)Play the cassette again. Pause after each dialogue and perform an action to aid comprehension.

6)Repeat. This time pause for the children to carry out the indicated movements.

7)Divided the class into three groups, with each group taking on a role in the story, manage, Miss Smart and the students.

8)Encourage the whole class to say the dialogue, with each group saying its corresponding role.

Activity 2. 1)The children now act out the dialogue in pairs.

2)Call volunteers to the front of the class to act out the dialogue to their classmates.

Activity 3. Ask the students to line out “will” and ask them to read out that whole sentence.

4.Homework :1)Work in Activity Book . Finish the exercise of page 22and23.

2)Copy the words 6 times for each word and recite them.

Module 6 Unit2 Let’s have a class party this Saturday. Teaching contents :

Theme : I’ll draw the pictures!

Language :Let’s have a class party this Saturday!

Let’s meet there.

Words : report, stick, fantastic, meet

Teaching steps :

1. Greetings :Good morning/afternoon boys and girls .

Nice to see you again . How are you?

Would you like to talk about your winter vacations? Then give Ss several minutes to talk about it. And I will praise the boys or girls that they give us a good speech in English.

2.Warmer: 1) Game: Ask and answer. Tell the students to copy a line and write some times that I told to them. ( 10:00 12:00 6:00 8:00)

2)Now say that I am going to tell them some things I will do on Saturday. They have to listen carefully and remember.

3)Now get the Ss to work in pairs and tell each other what you’ll do on Saturday at those four times.

3. Teaching Presentations: Activity 1. Listen and repeat .

1) Write these questions on the board and have the Ss work in pairs and answer them.

E.g. 1)What type of party is it?

2)When is it?

3)Where will it be?

4)What can they do there?

5)What time will they be there?

2) Now play the cassette and ask children to listen carefully.

3)Repeat. This time pause for children to repeat the sentences a number of times and ask them to repeat the passage. Activity 2.Listen and say. Then say the poem.

1) Before saying the poem. Tell the Ss to imagine that they are going to make a class newspaper.

2)Have the Ss tell you the steps they think would be involved.

3)While saying the poem. Play the first version of the poem and get the Ss to repeat the words.

4)Now play the second version and let the Ss listen or they can say the poem as they listen.

5)Divide the class into three groups . The first group says the first and last stanzas, the second group says the second stanza and the thirds group says the third stanza.

Activity 3.listen ,think and say.

1)Play the cassette. The children listen to the questions.

2)Play the cassette again. Encourage the children to get the main points.

3)Now encourage the children to imitate it.

4.Homework :Finish the Wb of page24.
