Put the four pictures on the P90 in Part1 onto the PPT And give some questions to the students. ⑴ What’s happening in the picture? ⑵ Can you describe it in English? ⑶ What should we do to solve the environmental problem? Give some necessary new words to the students: Pollution , greenhouse effect, CO2 emmission etc. Step 2: Discussion After answering the three questions, most students might give some suggestions when facing these terrible problems. Second, read the questions and the choices of a,b,c. Third, listen to the tape recorder and choose the correct answer. Step 3: Activity 2 – Second listening Read the sentences one by one and listen to the tape recording again , then judge true or false. Step 5 : Activity 3 – Third listening Listen again and find out how the following things can be recycled. Keys: supermarket bags toilet paper Fridge parts Step6: Homework: 1.
