1. new words and phrases : do homework tidy room secret birthday card sleep 2. Grammar What’s he doing?

He’s/ she’s (not) doing sth.

Is he/she doing sth? Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t. What are you doing? I’m doing sth. Are you doing? Yes, I am/ No, I’m not.

3. All the students can read the text. Some good ss can recite it.

Step1. sing a song → I’m listening to the music. Step2. T: look, I’m reading a book. How about you? S1: I’m reading a book too. T: what are you doing?

S2: I’m playing football/ basketball/the piano.

Ss free talk.

S1: what are you doing? S2: I’m _____________. Step3:

T: I’m reading a book. Are you reading a book too? S: yes.

T: you can say “ yes, I am” T: Are you reading a book too? S: no

T: you can say “ no, I’m not”

Step4 show pictures and lead in the new phrases T: what’s he doing?

PPT S: He’s drawing a picture. T: what’s he doing?

PPT S: 做作业

T: he’s doing his homework. (教读,学生one by one) T: what’s he doing?

PPT S: 打扫房间

T: he’s tidying his room (教读,学生one by one)

<板书重点句型, doing his homework, tidying his room。学生分成两大组一问一答,齐读板书>

Step 5: show the picture of part one

T: what’s the bear doing? S1: he’s doing his homework. T: let’s listen.

S2: he’s sleeping. (教读,学生one by one) Step6

T: T: what’s he doing? PPT 做作S1: he’s doing his homework.

S2: he is doing his homework.

PPT 打 篮 T: is he doing his homework?

T: he isn’t doing his homework. ss read one by one.

Step7 guessing game.

S1: is he reading a book? T: no he isn’t. PPT 做卡片 S2: is he writing a letter? T: no he isn’t. Sam S3: is he sleeping? T: no he isn’t. Ss: what’s he doing?

T: he’s making a birthday card. It’s a birthday card. And this is for___________. Listen Ss: this is for Mum.

Step8: listen and repeat. Step 9: read and fill in the blanks.

Sam, please __________________and____________.

Mum, Sam_____tidying his room Is he_________________? No, he isn’t

What’s he doing? It’s a _______ A secret? Sam, _______________

This is for you, Mum. _________________! _______________Thank you, Sam Are you _____________________now? Yes, _______ Good boy. Step 10 ss read the text together again . 课后反思:

1. 本节课主要处理新单词 do homework,tidy room。 语法知识he/ she is (not) doing. Is he/she doing? 知识点较多。学生刚开始接触进行时,难道较大。先通过warming up让学生复习 I’m doing 衔接到Are you doing?在学生回答中。再衔接到what’s he doing? 这个环节主要处理新单词短语。再到下一步,He is tidying his room. He isn’t tidying his room. 处理isn’t。 he isn’t doing sth? So what is he doing? Is he ….? 在转化到下一个语法。课文语法知识点多,教学环节设计紧凑。学生在一个循序渐进的过程中学习。

2. 由于内容和难度都较大,学生在一个课时内掌握所有知识有点难。在第二三课时,可以把知识点分解各个突破一般疑问句和特殊疑问句巩固练习。

3. 需要设计练习题让学生复习掌握人称的变化。例如he is doing his homework. I’m doing my homework. Are you doing your homework?
