第三章 建设条件

一、项目区概况

（一）地理位置及区域范围 葫芦岛市位于辽宁省西南部，地处辽西走廊，辽东湾北岸，东临锦州市，南临渤海，西接秦皇岛，北连朝阳市。总面积10300平方公里，总人口275万人，西南距北京市448公里，东距沈阳市260公里。绥中县位于葫芦岛市西南部，地处辽西走廊西端，称作“关外第一县”。 绥中地处东经119°34’至120°31’，北纬39°59′至40°37′。东隔六股河与兴城市为邻，南邻渤海辽东湾，西与河北省秦皇岛市山海关区、抚宁县、青龙满族自治县接壤，北靠建昌县。总面积2,765平方公里，总人口62万，县内辖25个乡镇。

（二）自然资源：境内南部沿海平原广阔，西北山区中部丘陵绵延起伏，整个机构为六山三水一分田。气候宜人，属温带半湿润大陆性季风气候。年降水量平均为600-700mm，年平均气温为9.6oC，冬无严寒，夏无酷暑。年平均地面温度为11.9℃，年平均降水量为652.5毫米，年均日照时数2,544.2小时，日照百分率为57%，平均无霜期176天。

One afternoon she set out from the coast in a small boat and was caught in a storm. Towards evening, the boat struc a roc and the girl jumped into the sea. Then she swam to the shore after spending the whole night in the water. During that time she covered a distance of eight miles. Early next morning, she saw a light ahead. She knew she was near the shore because the light was high up on the cliffs. On arriving at the shore, the girl struggled up the cliff towards the light she had seen. That was all she remembered. When she woke up a day later, she found herself in hospital. Lesson34 Quic work 破案“神速” Ted Robinson has been worried all the weekLast Tuesday he received a letter from the local police. In the letter he was asked to call at the station. Ted wondered why he was wanted by the police, but he went to the station yesterday and now he is not worried any more. At the station, he was told by a smiling policeman that his bicycle had been found. Five days ago, the policeman told him, the bicycle was picked up in a small village four hundred miles away. It is now being sent to his home by train. Ted was most surprised when he heard the news. He was amused too, because he never expected the bicycle to be found. It was stolen twenty years ago when Ted was a boy of fifteen ! Lesson35 Stop thief捉贼！ Rov Trenton used to drive a taxi. A short while ago, however, he became a bus-driver and he was not regretted it. He is finding his new work far more exciting. When he was driving along Catford Street recently, he saw two thieves rush out of a shop and run towards a waiting car. One of them was carrying a bag full of money. Royacted quickly and drove the bus straight at the thieves. The one with the money got such a fright that he dropped the bag. As the thieves were trying to get away in their car, Roy drove his bus into the bac of it. While the battered car was moving away, Roy stopped his bus and telephoned the police. The thieves' car was badly damaged and eas to recognize. Shortly afterwards, the police stopped the car and both men were arrested. Lesson36 Across the Channel 横渡海峡 Erna Hart is going to swim across the English Channel tomorrow. She is going to set out from the French coast at five o'clockin the morning.
