Teaching aid。Multimedia tape recorder

Teaching steps。

Step1 。 Warming up(检查自学情况)

1. Have Ss work in groups to read the new words(Unit 1). The group leader is responsible for checking if his/her group members can read the words correctly.

2. T chooses some students in random to read the words loudly. T corrects their pronunciation mistakes.

Step 2。 Show the teaching aims to the Ss. (出示教学目标)

-Vocabulary and phrases :once upon decide notice pick lost towards knock answer all alone once upon a time pick up go for a walk look around

-Key structure: Did she often go for a walk?

Didn't anyone live in the house?

She didn't like it.

Listening and reading 。Step3.

1. Free talk Look at the pictures ,then talk about t some fairy tales .

Eg. Do you know the story?

Snow White (The Ugly Little Duck ,The Little Mermaid ,The Emperor's New Clothes,

The Little Girl Who Is Selling Matches)

2. Listen and check the true sentences.( Activity 1)

3. Look at the pictures and answer the questions.( Activity 2)

4. Listen then number the pictures in Activity 2 in the correct order.( Activity 3)

5 .Read and answer the questions.( Activity 4)

6. Complete the passage with the correct form of the words from the box.(Activity5)

7. Listen and repeat.

8. Explain the important and difficult points.

(1) All alone in the dark, dark forest, Goldilocks picked some flowers.

金凤花姑娘独自走进阴暗的森林,摘了一些花。

pick作动词,意为“采摘”,其后可直接跟名词作宾语。

pick up意为“拾起、捡起”,当宾语是名词时,名词置于up的前后均可;当宾语是代词时,代词只能放在pick和up之间

(2) Then she noticed a little house. 接着,她注意到一幢小房子。

notice作动词,意为“注意到”。如:Did you notice the hat in her hand?

notice sb. do / doing sth. 表示“注意到某人做/正做某事”。如:

I noticed Mrs Luo enter / entering the classroom.

(3) …and knocked on the door. …敲了敲门。

knock意为“敲”,既可用作动词也可用作名词。作动词时为不及物动词,跟宾语时后面需跟介词on / at。如:They heard a knock at the front door.

Please knock on / at the door before you come into the teachers' room.

(4) hurry to 匆匆忙忙去……= go to…in a hurry

e.g. Li Ming hurried to the room with no word.

=Li Ming went to the room in a hurry with no word.

(5)maybe 可能可以和may 替换, 但maybe常用于句首, 而may be常用于句中。

(6)e.g. Maybe he is at home. = He may be at home.

Act it out . 9.

Step4 . Pronunciation and speaking

1. Listen and notice the different ways the speaker says the words. (Activity 6)

2. Listen and repeat.(Activity 7)

3. Work in pairs. Tell the story.(Activity 8)

Step5 . Test in class (当堂检测):
