一、词形变化形容词最高级的变化：

a.规则的： 直接加est cheap—cheapest big--biggest 双写再加est friendly—friendliest 改y 为 i 再加est comfortable—most comfortable 多音节词在前面加most b.不规则的： good—better—best well— better ——best bad—— worse —— worst many, much—more—most

二、基本用法请认真观察并分析以下例句，注意每个句 子的结构和含义，然后补全结论部分所缺 的内容。 1. 大多数形容词有三个等级。 a.原级即原形，如big(大)。 b.比较级表示 “ 较… ” 或 “ 更… 一 些 ” 的意思。

如: bigger(更大) c.最高级表示 “最…”的意思。 如: biggest(最大)

2. 形容词的比较级和最高级的用法 a. 两种人或事物进行比较时, 用 “形容词比较级 + than”。 The sun is bigger than the moon. This cake is more delicious than that one. 形容词比较级可用much, still, a little, even等词来修饰。

3.形容词最高级的用法 表示三者或三者以上 ( 人或事物 ) 的比较, 用 最高级。最高级前面一般加定冠词the, 后面可带 短语来说明比较的范围。 如: 1.Mary is the youngest of the three girls. 2.English is one of the most important subjects in middle school.
