新课标要求小学五年级学生能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问;能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当的反应;能认读所学词语、能根据拼读的规律、读出简单的单词;能按要求用简单的英语做游戏、能体会到英语学习的乐趣;学习中集中注意力;敢于开口、表达中不怕出错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动、积极与他人合作、共同完成学习任务。

ⅡText Analysis

“Let’s learn”为词汇学习课,通过五个V-ing词组来进一步学习如何询问并回答某人是否正在做某事。

ⅢStudents Analysis

在之前的学习中,学生对现在进行时有所接触:五年级下册Unit5中初步学习了现在进行时的一般疑问句。本课将学习如何询问并回答某些人是否正在做某事。

ⅣTeaching Objectives

1. 能够听、说、读、写五个动词词组的-ing形式:

doing morning exercises/ having …class/eating lunch/reading a book/ listening to music;能够在语境中正确运用这五个词组描述人物正在进行的事情。

2.能运用现在进行时

What is she/he doing? What are they doing? 来询问别人正在做什么,并能准确的回答。

3.培养和激发学生的小组合作意识,让他们意识到时间安排的重要性。

ⅤTeaching Keys & Difficulties

1. Keys:听、说、读、写

doing morning exercises/ having …class,/eating lunch/ reading a book/listening to music。现在进行时句型的掌握与运用。2. Difficulties:quietly的发音,have 的现在分词形式,having。

ⅥTeaching procedures

Step one:Greeting & warming up

1.Greeting.

2.T: shows the title and leads to the new period directly.Teaches the pronunciation of quietly.

3.Listen to a song “school day”and sing it.

3.Teacher introduces my own busy day.several students are required to read it loudly.then, the teacher reads it again to introduce Chenjie’s day to students.

(设计意图:直接进入课题,通过歌曲激发学生学习兴趣。结合教师自身的一天引出陈洁的一天。)

Step two:Teaching the five V-ing phrases.

1.Teaching doing morning exercises

T: look at Picture 1. what time is it?

Ss:It’s 6:00 A.M.

T:What’s is Chenjie doing?

S1:Chenjie is doing morning exercises.

T:Well done. It’s 6:00 A.M.Chenjie is doing morning exercise.Now please read after me.doing morning exercises.Pay attention to the pronunciation of exercises.

Look at the pictures to focus on the phrases doing morning exercises. (设计意图:通过图片导入,学习新短语。教师教学后,学生观看不同图片,通过语言和身体动作强化对短语的掌握。)

2.Teaching having...class

T: look at Picture 2. what time is it?

S1:It’s 9:00 A.M.

T: Yes,good! What are the boys and girls doing? What is Chenjie doing? S1:they are having English class. Chenjie is having English class. T:Look at the pictures. What are they doing?

3.Teaching eating lunch

T: look at Picture 3. what time is it?

S5:It’s 11:00 A.M.

T:Yes. We are hungry at 11:00. What is Chenjie doing?

S6: Chenjie is eating lunch.

T:Yes,eating lunch.please read after me.

Ss:eating lunch

4.Teaching reading a book

T: look at Picture 4. what time is it?

5.Teaching listening to music

T: look at Picture 5. what time is it?

Ss:It’s 7:30 P.M.

T: Yes,It’s 7:30P.M.At this time, we have already eaten dinner.So, It’s time for us to have a relax. Do you know relax? what should we do? What is Chenjie doing now?

Ss:She is listening to music.

T:OK. Good, sit down. Read after me.

(设计意图:通过图片导入,学习新短语。教师教学后,学生观看不同图片,通过语言和身体动作强化对短语的掌握。)

Step three Listen to the tape and follow it.

(设计意图:听录音并跟读,强化对新学知识点的朗读和再认。)

Step four Read it one by one.

(设计意图:不同学习程度的学生单个朗读,可以发现读音问题,再次强化新的知识点。)

Step five Learn the two sentences.

1.Listen to the tape.

2.Read them loudly.

3.Several students read them.

(设计意图:通过听读小对话,学生能够潜移默化的强化对What is she doing?/What are they doing? 的不同回答。)

Step six Practice

1.Look at some pictures and answer the questions.

2.Loik at the picture and write five sentences.

(设计意图:通过看图口头回答和书面操练,强化巩固新知识。)

ⅨTeaching Reflection

第一次在多媒体教室录制。白板非常的灵敏和准确。备课的时候没有太多的考虑到对白板的运用,这是一个遗憾。同时在学生上黑板作答的时候,应该让学生多在白板上操练。这节课,我发现自己有很多的不足。第一点,课堂语言不是特别简洁高效,有不少无效语言。第二点:新知识的讲解中,过于形式化,缺少创新。第三点:缺少对课题的升华。第四点:学生也是第一次上,应该安抚好学生的情绪,调动他们的积极性。今后的教学中,我要谨记努力改正。
