本命令输出的信息很多，平时故障排查时，主要观察接口下是否有error报文，接口状态是否up，有没有载波丢失，双工、速率、MTU等信息是否正常。

本命令可以检查接口的状态，以及该接口工作在二层（bridge）还是三层（inet/inet6）。
