must 表示主观上的义务和必要（意思是必须），主要用于肯定句和疑问句 e.g. You must finish your homework today 你今天必须完成家庭作业 【注意】must not 表示禁止的意思

回答must 的问句时，否定形式常用 needn’t或don’t have to，而不用must not

have to 表示一种客观的需要（意思是不得不）

e.g. It is getting dark. He has to go home now. 天快黑了。他现在得回家了 have to否定形式即为don’t have to e.g. He does not have to go 他不必走

我们可以用该结构来描述一个人的品质和能力

1.形容词结构： to be+ adjective + enough+ to do sth

e.g. He spoke slowly enough for everyone to understand 他说得足够慢，每个人都能听懂 3.名词结构

e.g. I have enough cakes to eat 我有足够多的蛋糕吃

b too…to的用法 我们可以用该结构表达一种否定的结果

1.基本结构： to be +too+ adjective + to do sth

e.g. I’m too weak to go any further 我太虚弱了，走不动了 2.可以再不定时前+介词for 引出逻辑主语

e.g. The box is too heavy for the little boy to carry 盒子太重了，这个小男孩搬不动 3.当 too…to 结构含有否定词时，表示肯定意义 e.g. One is never too old to learn 活到老，学到老 当too后面加表示感情的时，表示肯定意义

e.g. He is too sad to hear the bad news 听到这个不幸的消息，他很悲伤。 *C enough to，too…to 与so… that句型的转换 1.enough to与so…that 的转换

【注意】so…that从句表示意思的否肯要与enough…一致

e.g. He is strong enough to carry the heavy box =He is so strong that he can carry the heavy box
