一、短暂性动词用于现在完成时

（1）短暂性动词的现在完成时的肯定式不能和“for+一段时间”或“since+起点时间”状语连用，但短暂性动词完成时的否定式形式可以和这样的状语连用，这是因为短暂性动词的现在完成时的否定形式可表示一个否定的状态，这个状态是可以持续的。如：不能说：We have received his letter for two weeks.我们收到他的信有两周了。但可以说：We haven't received his letter for two weeks.我们有两周没有收到他的信了。考例： —How are you today？
