考博英语作文

一、亮眼首句

1. As is symbolically illustrated in the cartoon …（[s?m'b?l?kli] 象征地；象征性地；['?l?stre?t?d] n. 有插画的报章杂志adj. 有插图的v. 阐明；举例说明；给…加插图）

2. As is shown in the pie chart（饼图）…

这两个句式用as引导的非限定性定语从句引出图画或图表内容，意为"漫画以象征的手法为我们阐述了一个观点……"，"正如饼状图显示的那样……"。

3. F rom the picture we can see…

该句式中的亮点是将介词短语做状语置于句首，不影响句子的整体结构。

4. Portrayed in the set of drawings above are/is…（[p??'tre?] 描写；描绘；饰演）

上边一组图画描绘了……

●It is difficult to portray feelings in words（[w??dz]）.感情很难用言语来描写。

●The book portrays the life of an actor.这本书描述了一个演员的一生。

5. Emerging from the drawing is a miracle（['m?r?kl]奇迹）:…

[?'m?d???]adj. 新兴的；出现的；形成的v. 形成；浮现；显露（emerge的ing形式）；由…中脱出

6. Described by the bar chart above are/is…（条形图）

这三个句式都是倒装结构，非常漂亮。放在篇首，能够在茫茫考卷中，吸引眼球。7. The cartoonist laid out the image elaborately, placing...at the center of picture.（漫画家精心地描绘了这幅画，位于……图片的中心）

8. The implication conveyed in the cartoon is that…（漫画传达的意思是……）

这两个句式中使用了分词结构placing…和conveyed。如果在写作中能够灵活运用这一高频考点，阅读组老师自然会觉得咱们考生功底深厚，作文定能得到理想分数。

9. The photo exhibits us an eye-c atching scene:…这张照片给我们展示了一幅引人注目的景象（[?ɡ'z?b?t] v.展览；陈列；展示；表现n.展品；展览）

该句式用特殊标点符号(冒号)引出图画描述的具体内容。这样的句式，比较方便，考生使用起来比较灵活。

首段图画或图表内容描述清楚后，一定要在作文中提出自己对该现象或者哲理的看法或观点，这样的作文才有深度。

一想到提出看法、观点，同学们脑海中立刻浮现的句式" in my opinion"," from my point of view"，"as far as I am concerned"…。这些句式太过于平凡，无法让阅卷组老师眼前一亮。那怎样让阅卷组老师欢喜呢?以下几个句式，供大家学习：

1. It is undeniable（['?nd?'na??bl]）that…(不可否认……)

2. It is obvious that…(明显的是……)

3. It occurs to me that…(我想到……)

4. I give my vote to the former/ the latter（['l?t?]）opinion. (我同意前者/后者的观点)

5. be supported by sound reasons(有充分的理由支持) sound -adj有效的；合理的；可靠的

6. As the proverb goes…(正如谚语所说……) ['pr?v??b]

Study hard and play hard is an old proverb, but it still makes sense（有道理）. 努力学习，尽兴游戏是一则古老的谚语，但它今天仍有意义。

二、点睛尾句

1. It is hoped that we should place（放置；任命）much emphasis on/pay more attention to...（['emf?sis] 重点；强调；加强语气）

例句：It is hoped that we should pay more attention to the problems of unemployment（失业；失业率；失业人数）.

2. Only in this way/only when/only through..., will/can we...

例句：It is only if all sides of society take their roles fully that we will achieve the society we want.

3. As long as..., we will be able to.../the problems is bound to... （be bound to一定,必定,肯定;不得不）

例句：As long as we persist in spreading scientific knowledge among the masses, all the superstitions are bound to go out of our life. （masses ['m?siz]平民，群众）

4. In the course of time/In a long run/In the long term, sth. is more likely/bound/sure to...

例句：In a long run, the practice of birth control is believed to do a great benefit to the future of China.（从长远来看，计划生育的做法被认为对中国的未来有很大的好处。）

5、In a word, there is every/little chance/probability/possibility that...in time to come.

例句：In a word, there is every chance that this wise move in economic construction will acquire a broader significance in time to come<在未来的时间里>.（总而言之，这一明智的经济建设举措极有可能在未来获得更广泛的意义。）

6、Anything/anyone that/who...will have to...

例句：Anyone who has a strong bias against China will have to threat（[θret]）her with increased respect.

（任何对中国有强烈偏见的人都必须以更大的尊重来威胁她。）

7、It is high time that...（是时候了）

例句：It is high time that the issue were to be solved so as to<以便> promote< [pr?'m??t] > the economic development.（现在是解决这个问题以促进经济发展的时候了。）

8、We should do our best in eliminating...< eliminate [i'limineit]vt. 消除；排除>

例句：We should do our best in eliminating air pollution.

9、The problem is not...; the problem is...

例句：The problem is not that we cannot do it; the problem is that we hate to do such nasty things. [['nɑ:sti, 'n?s-]]adj. 下流的；肮脏的；脾气不好的；险恶的n. 令人不快的事物

10、In order to..., we must...

例句：In order to make our world< [w?:ld] > a better place in which to live, we must learn to live in harmony with all wildlife species< ['spi:?i:z, -si:z] 物种、种类>.

例句：We can come to the conclusion that living on campus is the best way of learning independence, and of understanding other people and society at large.
