1 - OVERVIEW 概述

Components homologated by Packaging departments should ensure airtightness. However,

some appearance defects that are difficult to spot (folds, rough edges, glazing of the

bottle opening, lumps on the sealing skirts of caps...) and some dimensional deviations

may lead to risks of leakage.包装部门应确保产品的气密性.然而,一些外观的不良很难被发

The supplier should deliver components without defects, however this method may

also be used to verify that there are no defects not found in the visual inspection that

3 - EQUIPMENT

- Vacuum chamber.

- Components (bottles, caps ...) intended for the samples under test (quality previously

verified and found to conform)

- Simulants colored with methylene blue (in accordance with specification):

用亚甲蓝染色的模拟物( 需符合技术规格要求)

-Glycerin CAS n°: 56-81-5 (titer ≥96%) for screwed components with wide

opening ≥ 30 mm (jars/caps, screw-on compact etc.)

甘油CAS号：56-81-5（滴度≥96％），用于打开宽度≥30毫米的螺纹部件（罐/盖,旋式

粉盒等）

- Alcohol for components intended to dye products or products with an alcohol or oil

base 酒精用于装染色填充物或填充物中有酒精或油产品

- Water for components intended for other products

水:用于其它填充物的产品

- Torquemeter with precision +/- 10% used to screw components in conformity with the

values defined in the specification sheet or values recommended by the plastic

packaging syndicate (see table in 4.2.1).

A torquemeter may be obtained from ACRN or AT2E.

After preparation of the samples under test, submit them to the protocol corresponding to the specified test.

- Fit the samples under test with components(bottles, overcaps, caps, gasket...)

ofconforming quality.

- Fill the bottles until the lower neck (or until PF specified nominal volume for jars) with the

appropriate colored product (glycerin, water or alcohol) indicated in the specification

s heet.用一些在规格书当中指明的有色彩的填充物(如甘油,水,酒精) 填充至瓶颈下部(或PE指定的容量)

-Assemble the overcaps, caps, gaskets, etc. on the bottles or jars.

For screw rings, minimum torques defined in the table below will be used (extract froma publication by the Plastic packaging syndicate), except if other values are given in thespecification sheet: 瓶子或罐子组装上盖,盖子,垫片等, 对于有螺纹的产品来说,将使用下表所定义的最小扭矩

For screw ring bottles with an end stop or a “click”, screw -down the bottle until this end stop.

- Leave the filled bottles upright for a minimum of 1 hour at laboratory temperature.

Put the samples under test supine in the vacuum chamber (for jars: The half of the samples lot is placed upside down, the other half is placed in a supine position) on white absorbent paper and bring the pressure inside the chamber to a value between 250 and 200 mbar for 10 to 15 seconds (see diagram below):
