The rules in societies today are too strict for young people.

Paradox is everywhere, so is the issue over the rules in the society today, especially rules for the young people. Many people hold the opinion that nowadays, taking the advantages about all the resources and high technology, rules for young people become much more loose. However, after careful observation and consideration, I have to refute that the world is cruel, namely the rules in society today are too strict for young people. I shall illustrate my view during three aspects.

Admittedly, we need to say that in some degree, young people benefit from the society today, since the development of the ideology makes people more free and independent. It’s hard for the elder people to married the one they loved, facing all the rules about the class status. We all know the story ‘Romeo and Juliet’, which tells a pair of lover died in the end due to the rules of society are that time. And girls in the old society could never went to school searching for the higher education, as the boys in the same age could do. What’s more, young people nowadays chose their own career paths, which is impossible in the old time, because parents would help to prepare the children’s whole life. In a nutshell, some of the part of the society really becomes loose to the young.

However, there are still some standards targeted at youngsters drive me to indicate, such as the competitive in the society. Though young people manifest their own power on choosing their own lives, it is harder for them to achieve the goals in the society. Every year, millions of youngsters pour in to the job market, making the competition crueler for them. More and more students go back home without a work, some even the high-educated collage students. The nearest global unemployment crisis together with the pressure of exploding population has made the talent market more and more competitive. Therefore, only the best could survive in the society, this simple rule is just like the Jungle Law, which is strict but everyone need to observe it.

Another factor deserves certain words. As we all know filial piety is one of the most prevailing virtues, taking care of the parents is the unshakeable responsibility for young people. Since the political provision, family now always has just one child; therefore the whole family needs to rely on the only youngster. While due to the fast-speed society, the youngsters nowadays often have no time to accompany with their parents. To take things worse, young people are blamed by the society of this kind of behaviors. But think twice before criticizing these people, is the society become too strict to the young? Does these

rules refine their lives and bring heavy burden, which they may unbeard?

Judging from what I have mentioned above, I need to reinforce my perspective that the rules in societies today are too strict for young people
