The trip I like best

If you ask me which trip I like best, my answer is the trip to Beijing.

My family went to Beijing last summer vacation. We went there by plane. We visited the Great Wall and many other interesting places. We also did some shopping and ate Beijing duck.

I like this trip best because I could travel with my parents and we enjoyed ourselves. I also made two new friends from Xiamen and learned a lot from this traveling. It is such a wonderful experience that I will never forget.

How time flies! During my life, there was one thing that I will never forget.

Last summer, my father and I went to mountain climbing in Dengfeng together. We started early in the morning. But unluckily，it began to rain halfway. I got all wet and felt cold and tired. So, I wanted to give up. However, my father encouraged me not to give up and put his coat on me softly. He said "we won't see the fantastic scenery unless we reach the top" He really cheered me up. We got to the top at last and enjoyed the beauty of nature.

From that I know I should never give up.

My last weekend

My last weekend was busy but happy.

On Saturday morning, I helped my parents clean our rooms. I felt happy to see my room clean and tidy. In the afternoon, I did my math homework. It was a little difficult for me. After I finished my homework, I went shopping with my mother. We bought a lot of things. I watched my favorite TV program in the evening. On Sunday afternoon, I played football with my friends.

We had a good time.

My favorite gift/thing

I have received a lot of gifts so far. But my favorite one is a teddy bear.

It’s very beautiful and it is brown. I have had it for nearly 6 years. My mum bought it for me on my seventh birthday. Since then it has become my best friend. I went to bed with it in my arms. I told it my feelings when I felt happy or lonely. In fact, it is one of my family members in my heart.

The teddy bear has given me many sweet memories. I'll keep it forever.

I've been to many beautiful places in the world, but my favorite place is Hangzhou.

Hangzhou is in the east of China. It's hot and rainy in summer. And it's famous for the West Lake. Last summer I visited the West Lake with my parents. The water there was very clear and there were lots of fish swimming in it. It looked like a beautiful picture. There are many kinds of delicious food in Hangzhou, such as Dongpo Pork and West Lake Fish. I like to eat them very much.

I love Hangzhou and I hope that I can go there once again.
