Unit6 The Story Of Rain.教学设计

第一课时

教学目标

1．能够听、说、读、写A Let's learn部分的黑体单词：stream，rain，cloud，sun听、说、认读白体单词：vapour。

2．能够听、说、认读白体句子：Where does the rain come from?

3．能够完成Let's find out的任务。

4．学唱歌曲“Little Water Drop"。

教学重、难点

本课时的教学重点和难点是Let's learn部分的四会单词：stream，rain，cloud，sun和三会单词vapour。教师要启发学生开动脑筋巧记单词，并结合所给句型替换关键词，在情景中学习新单词，逐步达到掌握要求。

课前准备

教师准备多媒体课件和单词卡片（包括四年级下册第四单元

B Let’s learn部分rainy的单词卡片，准备其它景物的单词卡片）。

教学过程

1．热身(Warm-up)

(1)教师放四年级下册第四单元B部分的歌谣录音，学生跟说歌谣并做出相应的动作。

(2)教师拿一杯水问学生：What is this？T:This is a glass of water.教师说：“We drink water every day．We need water

every day．What else needs water?”教师出示Let's start部分的挂图，引导学生看图回答：Trees／Flower／Animals／Birds need water．Fish needs water，……too．教师可以启发学生，想出更多动植物、昆虫名称，然后继续问：“Where does water come from?’引导学生回答：“It comes from rivers，seas，rain，snow…”

2．预习(Preview)

日常口语练习：

师出示图片后What's the weather like today? It's sunny／snowy／cloudy／windy／rainy (反复练习后chant) What's the weather like today? It's sunny!

What's the weather like today? It's snowy!

What's the weather like today? It's cloudy!

What's the weather like today? It's windy!

What's the weather like today? It's rainy！

Do you like rainy days? 生答。

3．新课呈现(Presentation)

Let's learn

Tody we have learn Unit 6 The story of rain （板书）

(1)教师拿出rainy的单词图片，说：Look at this picture“Today，we're going to talk about rain．板书rain后贴图片。

(2) 教师提问： Where does the rain come from? Rain comes from the sky， Rain comes from the clouds” 板书

cloud并带读。（贴图片）

(3)教师提问：“Where does the cloud come from?'’引导学生回答：“It comes from the vapour．”板书vapour并带读。（贴图片）

(4)教师提问：“Where does the vapour come from?'’引导学生回答：“It comes from the stream．”板书stream并带读。（贴图片）The sun shines and the water becomes vapour。板书sun（贴图片）。

(3)“快看快猜”游戏

A：（借助课件）教师从上到下逐层展示Let's learn部分的挂图，请学生猜图上的景物。教师指着图中的景物提问：“What's this?'’引导学生回答：“It's the sun／cloud/vapour／rain／lake／grass／stream．”

B:猜猜谁没了（出示课件）

(4)快速反应

教师指着黑板上水循环的简笔画(rain—cloud—vapour—sun—stream)提问，如 “Where does the rain come from?'’请学生根据图的提示回答：“Cloud．”待学生熟悉新句型后，请一名学生上台说问句，其他学生抢答。

(5)学生两人一组，拿出自己的单词卡片。一名学生随意抽出一张卡片，根据卡片上的内容问：“Where does the…come from?'另一名学生从自己的卡片中拿出相应的卡片回答：“It comes from…”两人轮流提问。

教师问学生：“What do we have in nature?”启发学生回

答：“Rivers／Cloud/Mountains／Forests／Flowers／Animals／Birds／…”课件出示70页图片，教师问：“What can you see in the picture?”请一名学生示范回答：“I can see the sun．”然后学生五人一组找出图中的景物，用英文表述并在图上注上英文.

学生听录音学唱歌曲“Little Water Drop"。

4．巩固和延伸(Consolidation and extension)

(1)记忆游戏

学生合上课本。教师根据Let's find out部分的图画提问：“Is there a sun in the picture?”学生凭记忆抢答。待学生熟悉后，教师说句子，请学生根据图画；判断正误。比如，教师说：“There isn't a sun in the picture．”学生应该说：“Yes,there is．”

5.Homework

1)Read new words 复习巩固本节课所学的新单词。

2)Sing the song to your parents or friends. 让学生把新学的歌曲唱给家长或朋友听。

设计说明：作业是课内的延伸，通过练习，将所学的知识真正掌握起来。如此，起到查漏补缺的作用！
