Two-poleapproachesintheHubbardmodel[1]andtheHubbardbandsconception(beingtheconsequenceofatwo-poleapproximation)havebeenusefulforunderstandingofthepeculiaritiesofelectricandmagneticpropertiesofnarrow-bandmaterials[1]-[13].Howeverwithintheframeworkoftwo-poleapproachesthereareseriesofissues,inparticulartheproblemofmetal-insulatortransitiondescription.
Inthispaperanewtwo-poleapproximation,whichallowstodescribethetransitionfromaninsulatingstatetoametalliconeatincreaseofbandwidth,andalsotheobservableinsomecompoundstransitionfromametalicstatetoaninsulatingonewithincreasingtemperature,ispresented.
