I’m a twenty-three-years-old girl named Zhang Yangyang. I come from Shiyan City of Hubei Province. My hometown Shiyan is also called the mountain city, which is less developed but really beautiful because of the green hills such as Mount Wudang and clear waters like Danjiangkou Reservior. Born in such a good place, the people there are very industrious and aspirant. Take my family as an example, my parents have no formal jobs but they have to support my grandparents and raise two children. So they are always working hard with no complaint and try to provide my little brother and me with better education. There is no wonder that they strongly support my further study and hope I can get my master’s degree.

Grown up in such a warm and loving family, I developed a positive, diligent, steady and tough character. Just like my parents, I never give up easily no matter how difficult it is and I’m not fear of steeling myself with challenges. I believe hard working will finally be repaied. So after 4 years hard working, I graduated from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law last year and obtained my bachelor’s degree smoothly. During my college life, in order to improve my ability and lay a solid foundation for further study, I spare no efforts on learning. In addition to my major in business administration, I also minor in fiancé which greatly broaden my horizon and eich my knowledge. Of course I benefit a lot from the learning of both fields. And I think that by joining the knowledge of different fields together, we are more likely to make new discoveries in academic study. So I believe my education background must contribute to my study on accounting.

Other than professional courses, I’m also active in associations working. When I was a sophomore, as the secretary-general of the Volunteer Association, I was in charge of 60 students and daily affairs. During that period, I organized several volunteer activities which were reported by famous media such as Sina microblog. I feel my work so meaningful and through these volunteer activities, we are happy to help those in need as much as we can. What’s more, we can build our sense of cooperation at the same time. Owing to my effort, I was awarded the “Outstanding Volunteer” prize.

Although I have learnt a lot of professional knowledge and practical skills, I think it’s not enough for me to realize self-value in such a competitive society.

Gradually I find my interest in accounting and I have a dream of being a famous registered accountant. So I think postgraduate study is still urgent for me to reach my goal. If luckily admitted into your school, I hope I can build up a systemic view of accounting through hard working on specialized courses. On the other hand, I want to participate in some relevant projects of my major, which will provide me with more practical experiences. In a word, I want to be well-qualified and make myself competent in future life. And after two years of postgraduate study, I want to find a good job to repay my painstaking parents and dear teachers.
