When joe first met Princess Ann, he was shocked by her beauty and elegance.What about you?When I first saw Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday,I know,she was the real Princess.Just like a sprite who falled into the mortal by accident.She was pure, quiet,elegant and beautiful.Yes,Audrey was the real Princess Ann.

When the sunshine shined the ancient Rome,it also shineda out-going soul. And meanwhile, an unpleasant experience, a period love story happened quietly. In ancient Rome, all obstructions disappeared like dust in general. The noble Princess and the poor man played happily in the city of Rome.In Roman Holiday, emotional transformation between the Princess and the reporter is very subtle and humorous. And it devotes a romantic emotional experience and much strong and warm feeling to audiences.

From the morning till evening with reporter Joe, the Princess Ann not only experienced the fancy emotion, but also contacted with ordinary working people by her own face to face. 并不是每一段故事都能够演绎完美的，看完《罗马假日》心里痛痛的，男主人公似乎在公主的寒舍走了很久很久的路，连公主也有自己不喜欢的生活，更何况我们凡人呢？

有时候，太多的期望和责任将我们束缚，我们可以幸福轻松地走一程，但是那些花前月下的唯美却总是太短暂，24小时的平民生活，可能就涵盖了过往青春的所有，当爱情跟友情在刹那间都如期而至，快乐之后，留下一点点瞬间的影像当做年轻自由的象征。

女主人公好美，美的洁白无瑕，我们总要掩饰一些，无论是身份还是感情，压抑着的是我们的天性，生活总归要恢复到昔日的平静，哪怕是刻板也要在常规的程序中完成自己的使命，很无奈的结局，为了更多的人，国家和子民，牺牲了自己最真实的一面，让自己苦了，累了，就像文字，写的多了，也就成了仅属于自己的了。

照片可以记录好多的瞬间，但是那里面有摆拍的痕迹，而文字也会很真诚，但有时文字也会骗人，当不再喜欢听寂寞沙洲冷时，心就不会微带着后悔了，留份回忆跟坦然，回首时，遗落一地的忧伤。

when people comment on this movie here, people all failed to mention another historic event which just happpend before the release of that movie in 1950s. Princess Anne of the British Royal family fell in love with a common man(who unfortunately was porced--one needs to understand that in 1950s, porces was like a dirty record in your credit history, which will damage your public image and credibility)。 It was also not acceptable at that to see a marriage between a common man and a lady with blue blood. IN constrast to King Edward who gave up royal position for her beloved one, she finally gave up this relationship under the tremendous pressure.

The cruel thing was that all news media published her give-in in headlines and it flashed on the street too. It was a sensational event in Uk and US.

Roman holiday almost replicated that story with unbelievably similar details. That's why it was so popular and so touching for many people in Europe and US.

this movie launched Audrey, an unknown and obscure swiss lady into stardom over night. She got Oscar that year and started her legend.
