  Ⅰ、 Warming-up and lead-in

  T:Boys and girls,can you sing the song,Seasons in the sun? Here it goes:Goodbye to you,my trusted friend。We’ve known each other since we were nine or ten。Together we’ve climbed hills and trees,Learned of love and ABCs,Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees。

  T:It is a beautiful song,isn’t it? The hills and trees,the birds in the sky,it feels really good to live in such anice environment。

  Ⅱ、Pre-writing

  T:Today we will learn a new kind of writing-argument。 Who can tell me how many parts it concludes? Yes,three。 What are they? The topic,demonstration,proof。

  T:Please look at the PPT,and there is a argument。 Let’s find their topic,demonstration and proof。 OK! Stophere。 How many sections in the article? What is the topic? Where can you find it? What’s the proof? Where canyou find it? Try to find the format of this writing。 Then I will write it on the blackboard。

  T:With the development of science,many chemicals are used in daily life。Many farmers welcomed them as agreat way to stop crop disease and increase production。 Recently,however,

  scientists have been finding that longterm use of these fertilizers can cause damage to the land and,even more dangerous to people’s health。How do youthink of it? And why?

  Ⅲ、 While-writing

  T:Write an argument on your textbook。 Pay attention to the format,punctuation,sentence structure and tenses。You have 20 minutes to complete your argument individually。 It should contain 120 words。

  Try your best。

  Ⅳ、 Post-writing

  T:Check your writing after you finish it。

  T:Change your article with your desk mate and edit it。 Then give him or her some suggestion。

  T:Who wants to share your argument with us? Come to the front please。

  Ⅴ、 Homework

  T:What have we learned today? And how many parts does it conclude?

  T:Choose one of the following tasks and make your presentation tomorrow:

  a、 Surfer the internet or refer to other sources to have a better knowledge of the environment and write a report。

  b、Prepare an oral report in front of the whole class about your feelings after studying the text。

  (3)组织游戏和活动。 活动包括分组合作、竞争、角色扮演、猜谜、全身反应活动等。 无论使用哪种活动,要经常变换方式。

  (4)让学生在问问题和回答问题时感觉舒适。 不要去批评学生的任何问题,给学生更多的问答机会,让学生和老师在互动中学习,这样学生才会保持英语学习的兴趣和激情。
