初二英语日记(2)

August 13 2008

Yesterday we played happily, but there were only ten people. I remembered last year there were twenty-two people at all. I heard some my friends had gone abroad. They went abroad to study. Maybe I couldn’t see them in the future. I think next year we won’t make a party. Next year is a very important year. We all will prepare the new term’s new subject.I know, it is the most important for us now.

My parents love me very much. They take good care of me in everyday life. When I have problem, I

always ask them for help. They often encourage me to do my best in my lessons at school and they expect me to become a top student in my class or in my school. They always want to me to spend all my time on my lessons. I like music and I am interested in the Internet. When I spend some time listening the music or online in the evening, they will stop me from doing that. I have told them I want to study well and I also want to enjoy life. So I hope we can understand each other soon.

The 2008 Olympic Games is drawing near. All of us are looking forward to it. In order to host a

successful Olympic Games, we need to do a lot of hard work. For example, we should improve the traffic condition in Beijing.

I think we can have a better traffic as long as we take steps in three different ways. First, we need to control the rapid growth of the number of private cars, because too many private cars will lead to serious traffic jams, as well as air pollution. Second, we must make greater efforts to develop mass transportation system, such as bus lines and subway lines. Third, we must educate the public to let them better understand the traffic laws and regulations.

If the above-mentioned measures are successfully taken, I’m sure the traffic situation of Beijing will be much better by 2008.
